Sonya Dessureault workshop this Saturday (3/1)
802 Westie Collective is very excited to be bringing Sonya Dessureault, a pro from Montreal, to our community for the afternoon of March 1st to teach a Level 2 workshop. This is a great opportunity for intermediate dancers to up their skills with a fresh instructor perspective. The workshop will specifically be focusing on partnership communication: how follows can ask for space and how leaders can open up space. After the workshop, we’ll have a beginner-friendly crash course lesson plus social dancing to practice new workshop material! Sonya is also offering private lessons while she’s in town, you can sign up for a one-on-one lesson here.

Saturday, March 1st
3:45 pm – Check in for workshop. Save time at the door and register in advance!
4:00 pm – Two hour guest instructor workshop with Sonya Dessureault. This will be a a Level 2 workshop on partnership communication: asking for and opening up space.
6:00 pm – Dinner break
6:45 pm – Check in for intro lesson
7:00 pm – Beginner-friendly intro lesson
8:00 pm – Two and a half hours of social dancing
