Give back to your Westie community in May
Now is the time to give back to your Westie community: donate a little extra, bring a friend, or volunteer.
We’re asking for your help in maintaining the 802 Westie Collective community. We want to shore up our nonprofit’s finances without raising weekly dance rates; to do this, we’re setting a goal to fundraise $1,000 over the course of May.Use this link to make a one-time donation in any amount. We recognize that budgets are tight for many community members—if an additional donation isn’t within reach, you can support the community by volunteering or bringing a friend to class. We’ll be giving out some limited edition 802 Westie Collective stickers to those who give back!
In other news, both the upstairs and downstairs dancefloors were refinished last week! While we enjoy the new surfaces, please be extra careful to keep outdoor shoes off the dancefloors.
Lastly, we have a first Saturday social dance on May 3rd followed by a month of Wednesday evening classes. Read on for details.

Dancing in Vermont
Check out our facebook for informal, impromptu Social Dancing opportunities. These are community fueled events and we encourage folks to let other members know where they can find danceable music around the area.

The Canadian Swing Championships are this month with Montreal Bagels and Blues also upcoming. Members of the 802 Westie Collective community will be at both events so ask around if you’re interested in going too.
