Happy New Year!
802 Westie Collective will resume our usual programming starting on January 8th. Note that this means we’ll be off for New Year’s Day (the first Wednesday of the month) and will not have a first Saturday social in January. But we will get in 4 full weeks of classes with our regular social dancing afterward!
For some additional westie inspiration to start the new year, check out this New York Times feature on west coast swing and share with others who might be interested to learn more about our style. Also a good reminder that sharing dance videos on social media can be a great way to connect people with our community! We encourage you to do so and tag our 802 Westie Collective accounts.
With winter weather a factor this month, be sure double-check our Facebook page on days when we’re expecting bad conditions. If we have to close last-minute for inclement weather we will post there to notify the community.
